Earlier this month I met an inspiring woman. We were interviewing Francine Bell to create a DVD of women’s wisdom for women’s empowerment. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful the day was.
It was a gloriously sunny, blue-skyed Sydney day. Victoria picked me up for the drive to Wangi Wangi – lucky for me because in her dream she had forgotten! We laughed uproarious, belly bursting laughter. It was just the release that we needed. It was a great example of the benefits of women connecting!
The conversation verged on the sublime to the ridiculous. We even saw 5 star toilets!
We arrived and I met Francine for the fist time. A big, bold, brassy, black woman – tall, sophisticated and savvy. What a joyous warmth this woman emanates. Again we laughed, over lunch all three of us, new friends in hysterics. The toilet theme continued because Francine’s toilet walls are truly a site to behold.
Meeting Francine in person was a truly special and life changing event.
